Josh O'Connor - Instructor
Music Producer, Live Performer and Music Educator Josh O'Connor brings his vast knowledge of Music Production to the Laptop Music Academy.
An Adjunct Professor of Audio at the College of Southern Nevada since 2014, Josh has taught hundreds of students thousands of hours of instruction in various disciplines of audio including Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Native Instruments Maschine, Ableton Live and Studio Recording Techniques.
Josh has also been hired by Ableton to teach masterclasses on their behalf, most recently at The historic Fourth Street School in Downtown Las Vegas.
The House of Blues' Music Forward Foundation invited Josh to speak on various Music Technology panels educating up and coming artists on the latest music advancements.
Josh's client list contains a Who’s Who in the music business including Justin Timberlake, Mya, Ciara, Fredro Star (Onyx), Eddie Kramer, Grey Advertising and The Minnesota Vikings just to name a few.
Having worked in Sully Erna’s (Godsmack) Serenity Sound studio (Hollywood) allows Josh to relay and teach real life studio situations and techniques to students that prepare them for success in their own careers.
